Kristen Sisko is an immigration attorney well versed in all aspects of family-based immigration matters, deportation and removal defense, and employment-based applications. She has extensive experience in applications for Lawful Permanent Residence (both family-based and employment-based), the naturalization process, consular processing, waivers of inadmissibility, abused spouse petitions, U-visas (visas for victims of certain crimes), humanitarian matters, parole in place for U.S. military families, and much more. With her vast knowledge of immigration law, Ms. Sisko helps clients overcome numerous barriers throughout the various phases of their applications and has successfully argued several appeals with the Board of Immigration Appeals.

She maintains a reputation of high-quality work and integrity. Over the years, she has helped countless families remain united in the United States. She has also helped numerous families become united again, after years of separation because of inadmissibility issues or other complex legal problems. Ms. Sisko’s in-depth understanding of immigration law, including the immigration consequences of criminal convictions, fraud, misrepresentation, and unlawful presence, has allowed her to successfully navigate the complex U.S. legal system to achieve outstanding results for her clients.

Ms. Sisko is aware of the unique struggles her clients face. She is passionate about ensuring that her clients can obtain the appropriate nonimmigrant or immigrant visas to the United States and is empathetic about the adversity they face. She frequently overcomes hurtles on behalf of her clients and works tirelessly to obtain positive results.

She volunteers as a pro bono lawyer with Catholic Charities Community Services, where she represents children in Special Immigration Juvenile as well as assists with various other matters. She is an active AILA member and mentors law students at the University of Melbourne Law School, in Melbourne, Australia.
