Meyner and Landis Supports Local Charities For Thanksgiving

Following the celebration of Mass at Gateway Center in Newark, New Jersey on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, the attorneys at Meyner and Landis LLP met with Fr. Bismarck Chau to present a donation of goods collected by the firm’s attorneys and staff, along with a check, to support the efforts of St. Johns Soup Kitchen in Newark. From its earliest days, St. John’s has been a beacon to the marginal people of Newark community, feeding the hungry and providing comfort to the homeless.

Albert I. Telsey, Esq., an environmental partner, spoke to environmental professionals on how to avoid legal mistakes when conducting environmental assessments prior to the purchase of suspected contaminated property and how to deal with mistakes if they are made - at Rutgers in New Brunswick on October 29, 2014. At Environmental Audits and Site Assessments, Al taught course attendees some of the legal consequences of completing assessments improperly and how to protect themselves from unfounded accusations of malpractice, so that environmental professionals can rest assured at the end of each day.

Albert I. Telsey, Esq., an environmental partner, spoke about how environmental contamination issues are resolved to effectively promote redevelopment at the New Jersey Redevelopment Authority Training Institute in Trenton on October 9, 2014. Al has been speaking at the Institute since its inception in 2006 and was the initial host for the three day event when it first got started.

Anthony F. Siliato, Esq., the founder and continuing head of Meyner and Landis' Immigration Law Group, has been selected for inclusion in the 2015 edition of The Best Lawyers in America© in connection with his work on business and corporate-related immigration matters.

Seven of the firm's attorneys were selected for inclusion in the "New Jersey Super Lawyers Magazine 2014" released in April 2014.

Scott Malyk was listed in the New Jersey Law Journal's 2014 "New Partners Yearbook" in March 2014.

Albert Telsey lectured on environmental impact of expanding the LaGuardia airport runways in New York City at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in February 2014.
