Javier M. Lopez specializes in the fields of Creditor's Rights and Commercial Litigation, representing a number of major financial institutions in both State and Federal Court matters.
Mr. Lopez earned his B.A. from Sacred Heart University in 2009, and attended the Syracuse University College of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2013. During his time at Syracuse University Mr. Lopez competed in multiple national moot competitions where he was awarded for his appellate advocacy skills by Hispanic National Bar Association.
After completing law school, Mr. Lopez clerked for the Honorable Hector R. Velazquez, Presiding Judge of the Chancery Division for the Hudson Vicinage of the New Jersey Superior Court. Prior to joining Meyner and Landis, Mr. Lopez practiced as a litigation attorney with the firm of Phelan Hallinan Diamond & Jones P.C.
